IU and Eunhyuk in Love?

Super Junior's Eunhyuk and IU are making waves around the K-pop atmosphere with some racy photos and stories. *whistle*

IU accidentally posted a picture of Eunhyuk and herself together, lying down, presumably on a bed. Eunhyuk appears to be shirtless. IU posted this on Twitter, then deleted it two minutes later. That was more than long enough for fans to spread the pic around.

Since then, the fans have been speculating, researching, and spreading rumours around this story. The thought of an adorable IU and sexy Eunhyuk together has also spinned off fanfictions as well. Loen Ent. gave a reply:
Hello. This is Loen Entertainment.

This is an official statement regarding the picture that was revealed early this morning through IU’s Twitter.

First, we bow our heads and sincerely apologize for causing concern to all the representatives and all the fans of IU and Super Junior.

The revealed photo was from this summer when IU was very sick and Eunhyuk had come to visit her at her home, and was taken then when they sat on the sofa together; it was revealed to the outside due to IU’s mistake through her related photo uploading service while IU was making a mention on Twitter.

IU is sincerely sorry for bringing harm to her sunbae Eunhyuk due to her error.

Lastly, IU and Eunhyuk are close sunbae-hoobae who have been close since IU’s debut, Eunhyuk is close to the point that he has even dined with IU’s mother. We ask that you do not exaggerate or make assumptions about IU and Eunhyuk’s relationship due to this incident.

We will return to greet you as a more matured agency after having learned from this incident. We apologize once again.

We are sorry.
Loen Entertainment

Fans have done their research, and can confirm that Eunhyuk was visitting IU when she was ill. Unfortunately, SM has only made one short comment. "We don't have anything in particular to say".

What do you think? I believe that they would make a cute couple, and are simply close friends.

K-Pop Stars and Plastic Surgery

Before I begin, I must apologize for not posting at all these last 8 days. Quite a bit happened, quite a bit of songs were released, so I apologize. Look foward to more posts :)

Seoul, Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world. It's not just for girls, 3/10 of patients are males. Surgery goes hand-in-hand with spa treatments, so you can feel relaxed and pampered just after a bit of work. In fact, "hospital-hotels" are becoming more popular. This is directed towards the international patients who come to Korea, simply for it's plastic surgery business.

So, it makes sense that a few idols would have had plastic surgery. This isn't a post about plastic surgery speculation, it's one about idols who have came out and admitted they have gone under the knife. So - let's get to it!

Jewelery's Yewon: On the 17th of this month, Yewon admitted to having done some plastic surgery work on Invincible Youth 2. She was very shy about it, and it took some push from Boom for her to admit she had a bit done.

Kara's Hara: It's a well-recognized and known fact that Hara had a minor double-eyelid surgery, which is one of the most common surgeries.

ZEA's Kwanghee: Kwanghee, unlike other celebrities, is open about how much plastic surgery he's done. In April, on "1 vs 100", KBS's program, he openly said that he tried to subtlely fix his eyes, forehead, and nose.

Shinhwa: A great deal of Shinhwa members have undergone plastic surgery. On KBS's "Win Win", Shinhwa's Shin Hye Sung, Jun Jin, and Dong Wan said they got plastic surgery. Hye Sung said he 'reluctantly' had some surgery before debut. Jun Jin and Dong Wan said they quickly took up some plastic surgery since SM's Lee Soo Man told them to.

Boom: It's a well-known fact that Boom, has also gone under plastic surgery. However, not for visual purposes. He had a physical skin condition, and got it removed to avoid pain and lower risk of cancer. However, artist Se7en claims the surgery was so drastic, he did not recognize Boom at first.

There you go! Those are some singers who did indeed have surgery.

How to Look Like A K-Pop Star!

Everyone knows that K-pop idols have a certain essence and look that is gorgeous, sought-after, and desirable. However, there is no "one way" to look like a K-pop star. It all depends on which "look" your after. I'll address

1. Makeup. Get ready, your mind is about to be *blown*.
  • Eyeliner. The most needy part of being a K-pop star is the eyeliner. Anybody who's seen Jiyeon from Dream High knows that cat-eyes are in-style! So, extend your eyeliner to make a cat-eye look! The more bold and extended, the better. Note: This creates the illusion of looking older, so, if you do sport a heavy cat-eye, know that you'll look 2-3 years older.
  • Mascara. The fuller-looking your lashes, the better. Fake lashes and generous coats of mascara are neccesary. Mascara and fake lashes.
  • Eyeshadow. K-pop stars use minimal eye shadow, and often don't use it at all. But when eyeshadow is neccesary, they stick to smokey eyes, white, glittery silver and gold eyeshadow.
  • Lips. The lips of a K-pop star are typically kept neutral - never too bright. Pink is good for an IU-like essence, and red is good for a Hyuna-appearance. But whatever you do - never, ever, ever use dark colors.
  • Skin. Koreans love clear, light-colored skin, so if you happen to have some blemishes or tan skin, then bust out the foundation. You'll want to go 2-3 shades lighter than your usual color, depending on the intensity of your foundation.
  • Contouring. This is optional - if your facial features aren't exactly sharp and angular, then consider contouring. If you want to keep your look innocent, like IU, then skip this altogether. If you looking trying for a Hyuna-style face, then contour the sides of your face and nose.
2. Clothes. It doesn't take much to recreate K-pop clothes - SISTAR is famous for their short, glittery, colorful dresses. SNSD is recognizable for short-shorts and colorful tops. KARA is known for their classy white dresses. Whatever you choose, it'll look good!
  • Skirts. Unless you're trying to go SNSD-style with short-shorts, avoid pants in general. They are rarely worn in the first place.
  • Crop Jackets. Crop jackets, not shirts. This is a popular article of clothing for all stars - from Drama-wear, airport fashion, and professional photoshoots, its good all around.
  • Accessorize. Go all-out with classy earrings, metallic jewelery, and big rings.
  • Keep it PG-13. As "daring" as K-pop gets, it's no more than what one would see at the beach.

EDIT: I learned this good trick that I think will help the Americans doing this look. If you aren't Asian, and can't recreate the K-pop look, then throw on a pair of dark shades! Big sunglasses work well with that daring/edgy CL-like look too c:
